Blast a list without burning your domain
Send a bulk email or SMS to a segment the safe way: consent checked, list cleaned, send throttled, and results measured before the next one.
- 1
Qualify the audience first
From a smart list, confirm: every contact opted in, DND excluded (bulk actions respect DND, but check your counts), and the segment is genuinely relevant to this message. Relevance is deliverability.
- 2
Clean before you send
Drop hard-bounced emails and landline numbers from the segment. Blasting known-bad addresses tells inbox providers you do not care.
- 3
Use drip mode for size
In the bulk action, send in batches (for example 100 every 15 minutes) instead of one dump. Spikes trigger spam filtering and carrier scrutiny; drips look human.
- 4
Send the test five
Fire the exact message to five internal addresses and numbers first. Check rendering, links, merge fields, and the unsubscribe link.
- 5
Schedule inside the window
Late morning midweek is a safe default. Never blast at night; see the quiet hours SOP.
- 6
Read the results in 48 hours
Opens and clicks are directional; complaints and bounces are law. A complaint rate above a fraction of a percent means smaller, more relevant segments next time.
Do it with Claude
Have Claude pre-flight the segment through the MCP: consent tags present, DND excluded, bounce history clean, and a draft of the message tuned to that exact audience.
Watch out for
- One giant blast to everyone, which trains providers to junk you.
- No test send, and 4,000 people receive Hi {{contact.first_name}} with the merge broken.
