Reputation engine: reviews on autopilot

Connect Google Business Profile, store the review link once, automate the ask at the moment of peak happiness, and handle every review that lands.

  1. 1

    Connect Google Business Profile

Settings, then Integrations: connect the Google account that manages the GBP listing. This unlocks review monitoring and GBP messaging features.

  2. 2

Store the review link as a custom value

Grab the direct "leave a review" short link from your GBP dashboard and save it as the custom value review_link. Every request message references {{custom_values.review_link}}.

  3. 3

Automate the request at the right moment

Trigger the review workflow when the deal moves to Won or the job-complete tag lands: wait one day, send an SMS and an email asking for the review. Use the Review Request prompt in the library for the full build.

  4. 4

Ask only the happy path at scale

If you run a satisfaction check first (thumbs up or down), route thumbs-down to a private feedback form and a manager alert instead of the public link. Never suppress or gate dishonestly; just route unhappy customers to a human first.

  5. 5

    Reply to everything

In the Reputation tab, reply to every review within a week: thank the positives specifically, address negatives calmly with a path offline. Use the Review Reply prompt in the library for on-brand drafts.

  6. 6

    Watch the velocity

A steady drip of reviews beats a burst. Reputation dashboards show request-to-review conversion; tune the timing and copy if requests are not landing.

Do it with Claude

Review replies are a perfect Claude job: paste the review, get an on-brand draft in seconds (or use the guided prompt). The MCP’s conversation tools also let Claude flag unhappy replies to your review requests for human attention.

Watch out for

  • Asking for reviews weeks after the job when the excitement is gone.
  • Copy-paste identical replies on every review, which reads worse than no reply.
