Funnel launch checklist

Ship a funnel that captures, converts, and complies: the page, the form or calendar, the thank-you step, policy pages, mobile rendering, and tracking, verified before traffic hits it.

  1. 1

    Structure: three steps minimum

Sites, then Funnels, then New Funnel. Landing page with one job and one CTA, a thank-you page that sets the next expectation, and privacy policy plus terms pages linked in the footer (A2P registration checks for these).

  2. 2

    Embed the capture element

Drop in the form or calendar built earlier. One page, one conversion action: a page asking to "book a call or download the guide or follow us" converts to none of them.

  3. 3

    Wire the domain and path

In funnel settings, attach the right domain and a clean path. Confirm SSL is active before sharing the link anywhere.

  4. 4

    Connect the automation

Form submission or booking must trigger the speed-to-lead or confirmation workflow and tag the contact with the funnel source tag. A funnel without follow-up is a lead graveyard.

  5. 5

    Run the mobile pass

Most traffic is mobile. Preview every step on a phone: headline readable without zooming, CTA above the fold, form fields tappable, no horizontal scroll.

  6. 6

    Test the full journey

Submit the form as a stranger would. Verify: contact created and tagged, workflow fired, thank-you page loaded, notification reached the owner, and analytics counted the visit.

Do it with Claude

Funnel building is outside the MCP: use the Funnel prompt in the library and Ask AI assembles the structure. Claude then verifies the follow-up side through the MCP: the contact record, tags, and pipeline entry from your test submission.

Watch out for

  • Launching without policy pages and failing A2P review later.
  • A beautiful page wired to no workflow: leads arrive and nothing happens.
